On team Drali from day one of the Steel Drali team for fixed-gear competition and road races, he later developed a passion for triathlon. After 1 full year of exclusive triathlon training he placed immediately at 70.3 in Cervia where he finished under 5h.

From there on, his love for the discipline has grown and as a goal, he would like to conclude a complete Ironman, possibly in Nice 2022, which is recognized as one of the most challenging races.

We are happy to introduce our new Triathlon Ambassador, 24year-old Stefano Micotti.
Stefano was born in Verbania from a triathlete father who was a former alpine ski coach and athlete mother who was rowing nationally. As a child he excelled at number of disciplines including swimming and bike, at 17 he decided to move to Novara to start pursuing his dream seriously: to become a professional triathlete.
Following a serious accident, Stefano had to stop training for a year and a half, but this did not stop his desire for competition. Thanks to the help of a new coach and new athletes with which he could challenge himself and train, Stefano returns to follow his dream.

He's currently studying Sports Science to get a full training in theoretical terms, and he's aware that one day he could switch from being an athlete to being the coach of other athletes and perhaps even constructing something more ambitious.

We're very happy to welcome him into our line up and to see him pedaling on our bikes. “I am very honored to join the DRALI family, which I follow and respect for its projects that look at innovation while maintaining that historical and traditional touch”.

Competes mainly in distance sprints and olympic distances at national and international level.
